Please note: We are meeting outside the zoo at the Holtsville Ecology Center Pavilion, and will walk to the Wildlife Ecology Center Animal Preserve as a group. They share a parking lot. Parking is $5.
How it Works
Join DMRF supporters from across the state to raise awareness of dystonia, funds to support the DMRF & connect the community so that no one has to face dystonia alone. Everyone who pays to register for the Long Island Dystonia Zoo Day will also automatically be signed up for our Virtual Dystonia Zoo Day.
If you cannot attend in person but would like to support a team, please make a team donation. We are also planning a FREE virtual event in October.
Cost
Fees: $25 for Adults /$15 for children (12 yrs and under).
Registration Includes Access to the zoo, refreshments, and a t-shirt.

New Fundraising Opportunities
-New or increased individual donoations (over 2023 gifts) to teams will be matched.
-For every team that exceeds 2023 total fundraising, the event receives a $1000 match.
-All new sponsorships will be matched 2:1.
Every registrant will receive a t-shirt but only registrants on teams of 10 or more will receive a personalized t-shirt. Teams must be completely registered by August 26 to ensure that your personalized team t-shirt will be available. All t-shirts will be available for pick-up the morning of the event during registration.

10:45 AM - Walk to the zoo and spread the word about dystonia
